Something special is taking root in Talent, Oregon — Introducing The Gateway Hub: an exciting new project designed to bring the community together and spark entrepreneurship! At its heart, The Gateway Hub is a vibrant, food-focused gathering space and marketplace envisioned to serve the community and businesses of Talent. This space will nurture emerging entrepreneurs, foster economic development, and provide a welcoming hub for learning, collaboration, and community gathering.
We’re at a pivotal moment — and we need your voice to shape this project!
Here’s what the Gateway Hub would offer:
🛍️ Valley View Market
A year-round marketplace and cafe highlighting products from Southern Oregon entrepreneurs — plus rotating food carts and a seasonal farmers market to showcase regional talent.
🚀 The Launch Lab
A shared commercial kitchen where food startups can test, grow, and thrive — supported by mentorship, training, and business development resources.
🍳 Seasoned Learning
A demonstration and classroom kitchen offering culinary classes for youth and adults, focused on kitchen skills, nutrition, and workforce readiness.
📈 Upstart Talent
One-on-one coaching, financial planning support, marketing assistance, and wrap-around services for entrepreneurs at every stage of development.
📣 Community Momentum Is Building
On May 15, over 50 community members gathered at the Talent Community Center for the first community forum on the Gateway Hub. The energy was palpable — We heard stories, shared ideas, and collectively imagined what this space could become for Talent.
