Talent, Oregon (January 21, 2026) - Last night, local business owners and community members gathered at the Talent City Hall for an evening of community connection and networking. The Talent Business Alliance, in partnership with the City of Talent, hosted a local business mixer and community open house on Tuesday, January 20th, celebrating the ongoing restoration of Talent's Historic Town Hall building, located at 206 E Main St.

The event kicked off at 5:30 pm at Talent City Hall, where attendees enjoyed light refreshments provided by the city, and had the opportunity to connect with fellow business owners and community members from both Talent and Phoenix.

At 6:00 pm, the group made the short walk to the Historic Town Hall. Despite the chilly evening temperatures (and the building's current lack of heating), attendees bundled up and enthusiastically explored the results of recent restoration work on this cherished historic landmark.

City Manager Pro-Tem Alex Campbell led the tour with support from Executive Assistant Karen Moakley, sharing insights into the restoration projects completed so far and inviting community input on future uses and landscape design options for the historic property. The collaborative spirit was palpable as attendees contributed their ideas and learned about opportunities to support restoration efforts.

The evening exemplified what makes our community special: neighbors coming together to support local business while honoring the history that makes Talent so unique. Thank you to everyone who braved the cold to attend, and to the City of Talent for helping us host such a great event!
