On Thursday, September 18, Talent and Phoenix businesses gathered for the September Business Mixer hosted at the Talent Branch of the Jackson County Library.

At the mixer, Roslyn Donald, the Business Librarian, highlighted the incredible resources available to businesses through the Jackson County Library District, including free one-on-one support, access to private meeting rooms, and a wealth of data tools and guides to support businesses and nonprofits.

A special thank you to the Talent Library team for hosting and for showcasing the important role public libraries play in supporting local businesses and economic growth. Attendees also learned about the library’s current collaboration with local artist Adrian Chavez, who created the limited edition library card in celebration of Latinx Heritage Month and Library Card Sign-Up Month. The card design, inspired by the artists childhood in Mexico, is currently available at all Jackson County library branches through September, while supplies last!

Up Next: Be sure to mark your calendars for our October Business Mixer, hosted by one of Talent’s newest businesses: Hair Sanctuary on Monday, October 20. Stay tuned for more details!
