Recap: 2-Part Social Media Workshop Series for Small Businesses

Last week, the Talent Business Alliance hosted a free 2-Part Social Media Workshop Series for Small Businesses in Talent and Phoenix.
About the series
These workshops were designed for business owners who aren’t sure they’re using their social media platforms to the fullest extent. Across the two evenings, the series covered:
Creating eye-catching posts using a smartphone
Using Instagram, Facebook, Stories, and Reels
Knowing when to post, how to tag, and how to read your analytics
Scheduling, cross-posting, and growing your audience
The series was led by Lanessa Pierce, owner and founder of What To Do In Southern Oregon. A Rogue Valley resident for over 30 years, Lanessa has built a loyal following across the region by sharing community-focused content that helps people discover local events, activities, small businesses, and outdoor destinations. Her approach to social media for small businesses is practical and built for busy business owners who wear many hats.
A special thank you to our funders
This series was presented as part of the RISE Program, a partnership between the Talent Business Alliance and the Phoenix Oregon Chamber of Commerce, with support from SOREDI.
We are grateful to our funders, PIER (Planning, Infrastructure, and Economic Revitalization) and Business Oregon, whose grant funding made it possible to offer these workshops free of charge to the community.
