RARE Member coming to Talent - September 2024

We're so excited to share that in September, a RARE AmeriCorps member will be coming to Talent! The RARE Member will be supported by TBA, Travel Southern Oregon, and the City of Talent, and they will be focusing on Talent’s ongoing economic revitalization to support the business community!

"RARE" stands for Resource Assistance for Rural Environments through the University of Oregon Institute for Policy Research and Engagement.

The mission of the RARE Program is to increase the capacity of rural communities to improve their economic, social, and environmental conditions, through the assistance of trained graduate-level members who live and work in communities for 11 months.

We are so grateful for this opportunity and we will continue to update the community as this project unfolds!
