Gateway Hub Update: Food Entrepreneurs, We Need Your Input!

What is the Gateway Hub?

The Gateway Hub is envisioned as a dynamic, food-focused marketplace and business incubator that will support local entrepreneurs, boost the local economy, and strengthen our community. Proposed for the Gateway site at Highway 99 and Valley View Road, this commercial space could include:

• Valley View Market: An indoor/outdoor marketplace featuring local produce and Rogue Valley-made artisan and food goods

• Launch Lab: A shared commissary kitchen for food entrepreneurs

• Seasoned Learning: A culinary education center offering classes for all ages, including professional level-courses. 

• Upstart Talent: Business incubation support services and mentorship opportunities

• Community spaces: Including a visitor information kiosk/hub, café, seasonal farmers market, and gathering areas for community events

The Gateway Hub aims to revitalize our community while creating economic opportunities for small businesses and emerging entrepreneurs, supporting local food businesses, and providing a welcoming space for residents and visitors alike.

With generous support from the Talent Urban Renewal Agency and the Ford Family Foundation, the Talent Business Alliance has contracted with Marketek, a market analysis and economic development firm, to conduct a feasibility study for the project.

The Marketek team is connecting with local businesses and emerging food entrepreneurs to gather crucial data and feedback about business needs and growth opportunities. Your input will directly shape how this project moves forward.
