Talent and Phoenix small businesses have been busy creating, learning, and leveling up their skills at Talent Maker City this month, thanks to a couple of hands-on workshops sponsored by the Talent Business Alliance. These events brought local entrepreneurs together to explore creative tools that can help to boost their branding and improve their signage—right in the heart of Talent!
🎨 Screen Printing for Small Businesses
Business owners rolled up their sleeves to learn the fundamentals of screen printing in this two-part series. and walked away with custom prints of their own. Big thanks to Black Lab Co. Soaps & Sundries, Studio MYJ, Moving in Harmony, and Ceremony: Bench & Larder / Cerberus Coffee business owners for participating! We’re grateful to Molly and the entire TMC team for hosting and supporting this inspiring experience.
🛠️ CNC Workshop Featuring Shaper Origin Technology
This week, another cohort of local business owners gathered for a CNC workshop focused on the Shaper Origin, a handheld CNC router that makes precision woodworking accessible to all skill levels. With expert instruction from the amazing Kolby and support from the TMC staff, workshop participants learned how to design and cut custom signage—opening new doors for in-house branding! Thanks to ART BOP BEER CO, Sweet Beet Station, Black Lab Co., Bee Sweet Blooms, and Studio MYJ for joining us.
🧡 It’s been amazing to watch local businesses connect, learn, and grow together in these creative workshops. We’re proud to partner with Talent Maker City and look forward to offering more opportunities like this in the future.
Stay tuned for what’s next—we're just getting started!
