April Business Mixer Recap: A Sweet Evening at Bloomie's Boutique

Last Tuesday evening, the Talent Business Alliance and friends gathered for a wonderful April mixer at one of downtown Talent's newest gems - Bloomie's Boutique. Local business owners from Talent and Phoenix came together for networking, conversation, and community updates.

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to mixer hosts Melissa and John Mitchell-Hooge for opening their doors and sharing the space they've spent 20 years dreaming into reality. Bloomie's Boutique officially opened in December 2025, and it's making its mark as a joyful spot in the heart of our community. From their curated mix of unique gifts and letterpress cards to their commitment to upcycling, featuring local makers and artists, and care package deliveries to local hospitals, Melissa and John have built something very special in Talent.

Bloomie's is also becoming a real community partner in supporting the Talent Art Walk, spotlighting local artists, and running a literacy initiative that donates early reader books to Talent Elementary School and other local schools each month.
